School Holidays - ADULTS session
Ok, the kids have had their fun, now it’s the adult’s turn
A late night weeknight escape to make a nice simple plate!
We use plastic templates to make this a stress-free process, with a nice round plate on completion. You will start by rolling out clay, cutting the shape, smoothing all your edges and placing in the template.
Then relax, get in the zone; and paint the night away!
School Holidays - Plate Workshop
Kids & Parents – Make & paint a foodsafe plate!
The kids love making these plates! (So do the parents actually…)
We make it really simple by using a plastic plate as a template. You are shown from start to finish; how to roll, smooth and cut the clay, then you’ll get to paint it on the same day!
(minimum 6 years old)
School Holidays - Sculpting Workshop
Kids & Parents – Make & paint a sculpture!
Get creative with sculpting your own animal, monster, TV character… or even your own pet!
Drop the kids off while your grab a meal at the Village! Or join the fun and learn all the tips and trick to create a hollowed out sculpture that will be fired in the kiln!
(minimum 8 years old)
School Holidays - Mug Workshop
Kids & Parents – Make & paint a mug!
There is nothing better than drinking out of your own creation !
You will be taught the pinch and coil techniques to create a beautiful organic shaped mug. One of a kind!
Keep the kids entertained while you grab a coffee, or get the family together for some core memory making 🙂

School Holidays - TEENS Workshop
Teens only – Make and paint a slab-built piece
No parents. No younger siblings.
Just teens and their friends!
We will provide the instructions and guidance for a slab-built clay piece, but give them lots of freedom!
For any teens happy to follow along to all the instructions start to finish, we will show them how to make a trinket dish.
Sgraffito Plate - Two-day Workshop
30th & 31st May 2026

Have you ever seen people carving into leatherhard clay?
It is sooo satisfying! In this 2 part workshop, you come along on the Saturday to make with clay and paint your background colour.
Then we leave your plates on the table to dry out a little bit… then the next day, you come back and carve your very own design into the plate!
Carved Mug - Two-day Workshop
18th & 19th July 2026

This mug workshop is a little bit special, because, not only do you make your very own mug; you get to do the satisfying carving thing!
Day 1 – arrive, get excited, hand-build a mug
Day 2 – arrive, get excited, your mug will be leatherhard, and you can carve a design into your mug!
Mishima Vase - Two-day Workshop
5th & 6th September 2026

Mishima is a surface design technique where you carve a pattern and then in-lay colour into the carvings.
We make this easy by using a wax resist paint on your vase.
On the first day, you hand build your vase, using pinch and coil techniques, then the day after you come back to decorate the surface with carvings and paint!
Christmas Lantern - Two-day Workshop
14th & 15th November 2026

Get some ceramics made in time for a Christmas display!
One of our most popular sessions at Christmas time is to hand make with clay – then punch some holes once the clay is leatherhard the next day. Perfect to place a tealight candle underneath and see the light to come through!
This two-day clay workshop includes either a house lantern, or a tree lantern, or a combination of both!
