What's on in the school holidays Wollongong ?
Since 2018, Black Duck Studio has been the place to be in the school holidays!
Parents from all over the Illawarra have been flocking to our little studio for ceramics, arts and crafts. We provide drop-off school holiday programs as well as activites the whole family can enjoy.

School Holidays Calendar

Make & paint a Ceramic Mug - $55
For kids at least 8 years old (DROP OFF)
or join in as a family – further pricing through booking link
1.5hr workshop
Get the whole family involved in ceramics this school holidays with our Family Make a Mug workshop.
Or you can get 1.5hrs to yourself and just drop to kids to us!
Make & Paint a Plate - $55
for kids at least 6 years old (DROP OFF)
or join in as a family – further pricing through booking link
1hr workshop
Using midfire clay, we will show the kids how to roll out the clay and lay it inside a template to create a plate.
They can then decorate the plate however they like with underglaze colours (these are just like paint, anyone can do it!)
Imagine how proud they will be when they can keep their masterpiece in the kitchen and bring it out for snacks!
Sculpt & Paint Class - $55
for kids at least 10 years old (DROP OFF)
1.5hr workshop
Learn how to design, sculpt and paint your own ceramic character! (Or bring a photo of your pet to create a cute mini version of them!)
Learn pinch pot, coil and venting techniques for ceramic hand-building that you can use for so many other projects!
