What's on in the school holidays Wollongong ?

Since 2018, Black Duck Studio has been the place to be in the school holidays!

Parents from all over the Illawarra have been flocking to our little studio for ceramics, arts and crafts. We provide drop-off school holiday programs as well as activites the whole family can enjoy.

Family Clay & Paint

ALL AGES WELCOME

Get the whole family involved in ceramics this school holidays with our Family Clay & Paint workshop.

Choose your own project and our team will help you step by step to create and paint your own masterpiece!

Popular items made in this class are mugs, bowls, jewellery dishes and animal sculptures.

Make & Paint a Ceramic Plate - $40

SCHOOL AGED KIDS CLASS (DROP OFF)

Using earthenware clay, we will show the kids how to roll out the clay and lay it inside a template to create a plate.

They can then decorate the plate however they like with underglaze colours (these are just like paint, anyone can do it!)

Imagine how proud they will be when they can keep their masterpiece in the kitchen and bring it out for snacks!

Halloween painting! - $25 to $40

SCHOOL AGED KIDS CLASS (DROP OFF)

Come in and choose a halloween themed sculpture off the shelf. Great for kids who love creepy things!

INCLUDES

– A bisque fired ceramic piece
– Underglaze colours
– Paint brushes and aprons for use in the studio

Paint-a-piece off the shelf - $25 - $55

SCHOOL AGED KIDS CLASS (DROP OFF)

We have a few different options, in varying sizes on our shelves, some examples are burger shaped money boxes, mugs, princesses, spiders, pirate mugs, racecars and all sorts of animals!

Pieces subjected to availability on the day!

Kids can choose the piece the like, then choose their colours and we will set them up with an apron and paint brushes to colour in their sculpture.
