Part 2 of the Making with Clay and Specialty Glaze Workshop

workshop details:

This workshop assumes you have already made something with clay, and it’s at our studio waiting for you.

You then book in this glazing workshop, at least 2 weeks after your making session.

This ensures enough time for your pottery to dry for 5 days, then we do it’s first firing (called ‘bisque’ firing)… then you book this glazing workshop to paint your masterpiece with our specialty glazes!

If you have paid for a “Two-part Kiln-Fired Clay & Fancy Glaze Option $110″ workshop, then your teacher will book you in for this once you attend your making with clay session.

If you are a Make-at-home person – please ensure you have already booked a firing session and been notified that your piece is ready for glazing. Otherwise you risk not having a piece ready for you!

Please note: This glazing session only covers 1 x standard sized piece for glazing, and 1 x glaze firing session. If you use underglazes, it also covers 2 coats of clear glaze that you can apply during this workshop. This class is not for greenware painting and we do not do single firing of pieces in order to protect everyone’s ceramics from accidents in the kiln.
