Our classes are designed to suit all personalities and creative styles. For people who love a little guidance, we have a project schedule to follow. For our free-spirited creatives, there’s the freedom to choose their own adventure and see where their imagination takes them!
Creativity doesn’t always follow a plan. Sometimes it needs a little inspiration, a gentle nudge to uncover those unique ideas, or simply the freedom to explore. We make space for all of it, helping our guests build focus, patience and the ability to settle into that beautiful state of creative flow.
Clay is slow work, and that’s part of the magic. In a world that rarely slows down, our classes give members the chance to pause, get hands-on, switch off from the noise and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something with their own two hands.

Clay hand-building, surface design techniques, texture, stamps, sculpting, underglaze painting, brushes, glazes and firing of works.
Our classes are a mix of ages and experience levels so lots of kids are inspired by the kids around them

We’re working towards bringing regular clay classes to Shellharbour in Term 1, 2027, with a proposed Monday program for adults, homeschoolers and after-school kids.
Our beginner hand-building courses are designed to help you learn the fundamentals, experiment with clay and create your own collection of ceramic pieces in a relaxed, supportive environment.
No previous experience is needed — just a willingness to give it a go.

Proposed start date: Monday 1 February 2027. Classes are subject to minimum enrolments and venue confirmation.
Adult beginner hand-building
$500
10 weeks · 2 hours per session · $50 weekly payment option
Learn hand-building techniques to create your own functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. The course includes five making sessions followed by five glazing sessions.

Kids beginner hand-building
$330
10 weeks · 1.5 hours per session · $33 weekly payment option
A fun, hands-on introduction to clay where kids can explore their creativity, learn new skills and make pieces of their own. Five making sessions are followed by five glazing sessions.
Parents can drop off or stay until their child feels comfortable.

We’re currently confirming numbers for each timeslot before finalising our venue and schedule. If you’re ready to join us, register your preferred class and secure your commitment with the proposed $50 deposit, credited towards your course fee.
If a class doesn’t proceed, your deposit will be refunded.
